The 6th house is Venus's house of debilitation in the Kalpurush order, though its owners, Ketu and Mercury, are both Venus's friends. Lal Kitab asks for care: comfort comes through work, and the spouse may carry a heavy load. The book reads it as a Venus that needs looking after, and asks the person to look after their partner in turn.
